Windows Live Messenger Mobile is the version of Windows Live
Messenger that is aimed to be used in mobile devices. There is a
WAP-compatible version that may be used on any mobile device,
and also specific client versions designed for Windows Mobile,
BlackBerry and Nokia Series 60 devices.
Windows Live Messenger Mobile for Windows Mobile
A client version of Windows Live Messenger Mobile is included
with the Windows Mobile 6 operating system. It is included on
both Windows Mobile 6 smart phone edition (non-touch screen
phones) and professional (touch screen phones). Among other
features you can send voice-clips (max 10 seconds), pictures &
emoticons. It will work over the cellular data plan or WiFi (if
supported by the phone).
Windows Live Messenger Mobile for Nokia
A client version of Windows Live Messenger Mobile is
available for open-market Nokia Series 60 devices like the Nokia
N95 device. The client is similar to the Windows Mobile client
and among other features supports sending voice-clips (max 10
seconds), pictures & emoticons. It works over the cellular data
plan or WiFi (if supported by the phone).
